# Malos Vicios > Castellón-based melodic punk rock band from Spain since 1992. Official site for bio, discography and booking. ## Biography **Malos Vicios** are a Castellón-based **melodic punk rock** band formed in **August 1992**. They blend **melodic hardcore** with **punk rock** and **metallic** flourishes. Sometimes their lyrics are **acidic**; at other times they are utterly **visceral**, tackling **social themes** while still making room for **personal reflection**, **human relationships** and **inner demons** with more **introspective** writing. Over **more than three decades**, Malos Vicios have been **refining** and **shaping** their sound into something clearly **recognisable**: **powerful, catchy choruses**, **thick, potent guitars** with exquisite detail, memorable **vocal harmonies** and a **tight, punchy rhythm section**. Their **live shows** bring **adrenaline, commitment and attitude**, plus a strong **connection and interaction with the crowd**. They have played top **festivals** across **Spain**, sharing stages with established **national rock** acts—and twice they have taken their **devastating live set** to **Mexico**, in **2019** and again in **2025**. **Eight studio LPs**, a **live double CD/DVD**, an **EP** and a **split album** with Disidencia back up the career of these **veterans of the Spanish punk scene**. ## Current members - Víctor González García — Voz - Salvador Tena Esteban — Bajo - Nano — Batería - Juan José Pérez Gual — Guitarra - Raúl Artana — Guitarra ## Official contact (booking and press) - Organization: Producciones Salatal - Contact: Tony Adúa - Email: info@produccionessalatal.com - Area served: ES ## Discography - Pesambre (2025) — studio LP - Grietas (2019) — studio LP - El Fin de la Diplomacia (2016) — studio LP - Ruido de Fondo (2013) — studio LP - Contra Todo Pronóstico (2012) — EP - Echando un Vistazo Atrás (En Directo) (2010) — live album - La Ventana Indiscreta (2007) — studio LP - Por Amor Al Arte (2003) — studio LP - Al Mal Tiempo… Mala Cara (2002) — studio LP - Novus Ordo Seclorum (2001) — studio LP - El Día Menos Pensao (1999) — studio LP - Circo Absurdo (1996) — studio LP ## Pesambre — review With «Pesambre», their newly released album, the **Castellón melodic punk rock band Malos Vicios** firmly consolidates this growing trend in the quality of their sound and composition, going all in on what amounts to the closest thing to a **concept album** they have released to date. This qualitative leap is already felt from the presentation itself: the work leaves behind the usual drawn-clown aesthetic—always the work of singer **Víctor González**—giving way to a powerful studio photograph in which a clown with an unsettling smile foreshadows the tone of the record. As they had been hinting, we are not looking at a typical album in their career. The ten tracks that make up «Pesambre» cohere around those **invisible ills** that neither tests nor X-rays reveal: **mental health**, **emotional weight** and the mind’s traps, hard to put into words outside of music. The set thus traces a kind of descent into hell, with ups and downs, blows and moments of comeback, on a journey as rough as it is honest. Added to that are standout collaborations such as **Agustín (Los de Marras)** on «Corazón disecado» and **Fernando (Reincidentes)** on «Remontada», which reinforce the album’s character without steering it off course and cement «Pesambre» as a firm step within today’s **Spanish punk rock**. ## Pesambre — creative context ### A high-emotion record Pesambre maps mental health, emotional exhaustion and resilience, with a narrative that links songs and visual atmosphere. ### Songs and lyrics Full Spanish lyrics at https://malosvicios.net/letras/pesambre ### Collaborations and reception The album features notable guest appearances and coverage in Spanish-language rock media. ## Lyrics Full song lyrics are published in Spanish at https://malosvicios.net/letras/pesambre and https://malosvicios.net/letras/
